I bought this pair of kitchen scissors because they had such good reviews online, but I have no idea why the reviews are so good. These scissors are worthless. They are weak and the blades are blunt. Definitely NOT "heavy duty." They hardly cut through bacon. Waste of money.

These are a hefty pair of kitchen scissors! Probably the sharpest pair I have ever purchased to date. I have used these scissors to cut up 20 people's meat for shrimp/ beef/ chicken and pork fajitas for our family game night. These scissors cut through every single piece of meat without fail. I cut up a total of about 50 pounds of meat and that was just the first day's use. I have made fajitas for the game night a total of 5 times in the last two years, each of those times I broke the pair of scissors I used to cut up the meat. So, to say they made it through that test of time is saying a lot. I have used these since then, daily, to cut up my 10-month-olds foods for all his meals too. It completely blew me away how sharp they were after the first night I used them. I use them, throw them in the dishwasher and carry on with my day. I haven't noticed any rust or wear and tear at all. They have a potential for being used for a while due to how great the quality of materials used to develop the product is. These are a really great pair of scissors with a nice solid grip. Would definitely recommend it.
