12,000 Midea A/C -Quick installation, very quiet.

We are very impressed with this 12,000 U-Shaped Midea Window Air Conditioner. We have a small bedroom window AC by Midea already (bought it 4 years ago). This AC is an Inverter and U-Shaped AC, It's very quiet. Most of the time you can't hear it at all, honestly. We set it on Auto, Power Saver at 73 degrees and it keeps our Living room, Dining area and Kitchen (approx 1100 sq ft total) nice and cold during the past 85 degree days we are having in Central Texas this March. The AC will cycle through different modes to keep the house cold. It will periodically cycle into the "Swing fan" mode to push the air further and reach all areas of the room(s). We haven't used the app or the led backlit remote (comes with batteries) yet. We recommend Midea Air Conditioners for their Quality, Dependability, Low Purchase Price and Ease of Installation and Use. My husband installed this in 20 minutes. We are very happy... A

I paid a little under $210 including delivery "12,000 BTU". The package came in excellent condition and when opened, everything was in the box and looked in brand new condition. After a little research I do believe the unit might be two or three years old but never installed, looks brand new and unused. Cold air discharge is in the mid 40° range. Quietest window unit I have ever owned. I removed the drain plug and it drains like a champ but this should be at your discretion and your own choice but the unit performs flawlessly with it removed and I believe that will remedy the mold issue, again this is just my opinion. I would definitely buy this product again, great value for the money paid. 3/3/2026
