I felt like a bit of a dunce when I first got my replacement battery and it didn't fit. I went back to the original and measured it. The same! It's amazing what happens when you flip the battery on its side. Suddenly it fit perfectly. This was totally my mistake since I'd removed the defective batter several days earlier and just didn't pay much attention to its orientation. Anyway, my UPS is now working correctly again.You can't blame the battery for operator malfunction. The battery's great!
