Great value for the money!

I was skeptical of this laptop at first because of the AMD processor. Boy was I wrong. This thing is awesome, it starts up almost instantly and works quite well. This has a DVD RW drive 8GB of memory and a 1TB hard drive. This is an excellent machine, with excellent specs at a wonderful price.

Great laptop

This is not my first laptop but I have to say this is the best laptop or for that matter best computer I have ever owned or used. The speed of this laptop is second to none and the ease of using or opening programs is UN-real! I can run both browsers at the same time, have Microsoft Office open and never no hesitation. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Superb performance and value.

This is my first laptop, though I have been involved with PCs since the 386 and have always favored desktops. Performance of this laptop is outstanding, for both multimedia and gaming. The quad-core APU processor at 2.40 Ghz, with 8GB of RAM provides enough processing power for just about anything I want to do. I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to operating systems, and have stuck with Windows XP until now. Windows 8.1? I really like it. At first it's a bit bewildering but all the basic windows features are there and easy to use when you understand how the interface works. I'm not too fond of the new "apps" that rely on a microsoft account to add or update. I just uninstalled the ones provided and installed the programs I wanted and was accustomed to using. For instance, skype was included as an app but required setting up an account with microsoft to "manage" my app for me. Uninstalling the app and installing a downloaded version of skype resolved this issue. All in all, this is a great laptop and an excellent buy.
