Lives up to the description. I use them exclusively in my monster leather work boots. They get a lot of punishment stomping around in all kinds of weather. Boots may get wet at times from the hose or wet grass and there's always the sweat factor which brings in the value of wool and its wicking properties. They're constructed well and hold up to the rigors of what I put them through, they have never de-laminated. I pull them out at the end of the day to dry and they're good to go. I change them out every 3-4 months or when they begin to flatten out at the heel or ball of my foot. They're a little pricey and I do place a high value on caring for my feet.

Gave these wool PowerStep a try switching from the work boot style for the upcoming summer. I'm working flight line in the Mojave desert where the ramp gets well over 120 degrees and the heat radiates through boot soles. After two months I can say my feet appriciate staying cool, dry and pain free all day long. I dropped my prescription orthotics for PowerStep a few years ago because my Rx's were slippery, expensive and weren't relieving my foot pain. Thanks PowerStep!
