Smell like old room that has been shut for 3years

Smell like old room with dust. texture and taste is okay but the smell got weird filthy smell. I've tried so many different japanese somen brand and never ever tasted like this before. If you are planning to cook with oil or strong flavor, maybe it's okay but not for traditional way. Idk why smell this way. Id hire Japanese chef to check the product for the smell.

Great noodles but becareful getting these shipped! I ordered these with eight tonkatsu sauces that come in a glass bottles and they shipped both fragile products together! and the only protection they put to separate them was 3 pieces of brown construction paper that were only wrapped around the sauce bottles. Items were laid over ontop of each other and noodles were broken.
