Super helpful, somewhat loud, not as intuitive as expected

Pros: -Scheduling and mapping: Being able to map my house and schedule different rooms is so helpful. I have a lab who sheds a ton, so I set the roomba to clean his most frequented rooms every day and it saves me so much time. -Google Home integration: I also like being able to tell google to clean specific rooms if I happen to need some extra cleaning. -Self-emptying: Not having to empty the vacuum after each use is a game changer for me. My old robot vac would fill up after one room and I would always forget to empty it, which then meant I just wouldn't use it. This makes things so easy. Cons: -Noise: A fair bit louder than my previous robot vac. It's really loud when it empties itself. For me it's still worth it, but I do find it a bit distracting. -Specificity: I thought this model would let you set specific areas within a room so that you could just clean (or avoid) those, but apparently that's only a feature for the more expensive models. Would have been really helpful for me. -Ease of use: It didn't feel as intuitive to use as I expected, and I'm fairly good with technology. With that being said, it's also not hard to use. Overall, a good purchase. I got it 20% off, so it was worth the price for me.

Great Vacuum

Our kids purchased the i4 for us for Christmas. We were not sure at first how we would like it as we are retired and usually at home for programmed cleaning sessions. A little noisy to run at night. Other than being a bit of a nuisance when you are in the kitchen, it works very well especially with picking up the dog hair from our pet. Our house is 2100 sq ft so the vacuum does not have enough battery life to complete a clean cycle in one run. Usually returns to dock to charge and then completes cleaning once fully charged again. Great for interim vacuuming, however we still vacuum stairs, under couches beds etc with the central vac.

Not recommended for pet hair as stated

i3evo review..also have an older 860 model. The older one picks up 3 times more pet hair than this new i3. If we use the new one in our 600 square foot carpeted family room it picks up a little bit, but if we use the old 860 model it's bin needs emptying right away. The i3 would take 6 runs to even think about emptying the bin and it's a smaller bin. We bought it on the description that states good for pet hair. No it's not!
