I just gave this to my granddaughter, along with a Little Critter stuffed animal. The stories that were in it were some of my children's favorite stories that we would read over and over again. You could never go wrong with Mercer Mayer and a book is one of the best gifts you could give. Mom and Dad get to spend time reading to the kids. And when she's older she can read them herself.
