I would recommend putting items from your home refrigerator or from an ice chest if you want your items cold right away. Items stayed very cold, even had butter. I wish the cubby on the door was removable because it takes away from the storage for cans, bottles,... I only used the A/C connection so far. One nice thing was when I backed up to leave, I unplugged the with the butter, soft cheese and drinks. It was sitting in my car unplugged for 18 hours. I open it up and everything was still cool, butter, cheese where fine. This item is light weight.

More of a cooler than a frig because it's lighter and doesn't get super cool. But it does work keeping drinks/lunch cold. Appreciate the handle and car adaptor in case I take it on the road. Currently just leaving it at work for water cans.
