Faulty part

We had a plumber come and install the faucet yesterday and now we have no cold water pressure. The plumber came back today and told us that the part was faulty; there is nothing wrong with our pipes. So now what should have been a simply 1-hour visit is going to be three hours of labor and $100! Very disappointed.
