Instructions
Just a reminder - Gardening can be a dirty business! We recommend using gardening gloves and washing your hands afterwards. Use with adult supervision and store in a dry area away from kids and pets. 1. Apply Whitney Farms Organic Bone Meal. 2. Mix into soil. 3. Water. How Much to Apply: Type: Plants; Amount: Apply 1 cup for every 30 sq. ft. (5 ft. x 6 ft.) of area, or 1 tbsp. per 2 sq. ft. of area (1 ft x 2 ft); Frequency: Whitney Farms Organic Bone Meal can be applied once in spring. Type: Bulbs; Amount: Use 1/2 tsp per plant; Whitney Farms Organic Bone Meal can be applied in the spring and in the fall. How to Mix: For new plantings: Work plant food into the garden bed at the depth of 1 to 3 inches by digging or tilling. For larger plants and shrubs, mix plant food into soil around root ball. For established plants: Carefully work plant food in the soil around the plant. Avoid piling plant food against the stem or trunk. Bulbs: For planting or feeding individual bulbs, mix with the backfill soil as your plant.
