ATS Acoustics suspended ceiling baffles are the industry standard for residential, commercial, and industrial sound absorbing ceiling and room treatment. These acoustic panels are mounted to the ceiling to reduce reverb and echo, and to provide clearer sound in large, open spaces such as garages, gyms, auditoriums, houses of worship, theaters, and more. The core material in our baffles is Roxul Rockboard 60, a 6-7 pound per cubic foot density mineral wool board. The interior aluminum frame provides rigidity, and the bar along the top hanging tab provides strength, security, and prevents sagging at the attachment points. The attractive, textured cover fabric is 100% natural fiber jute burlap, available in a wide range of colors to match your style or decor. Panel size is 12" x 48" x 2" and can be hung from many common construction surfaces, such as drywall, concrete, or wood ceilings, although mounting and installation hardware is not included. These baffles feature a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) rating of 1.52 out of 1 for superior sound absorption.
