I was initially skeptical of the "peach skin" fabric, but since this is to be used inside a duvet cover, I gave it a try. This is a nice quality, lightweight alternative down comforter at a fantastic price. The fill is "3D Chemical fiber", this appears to be some sort of recycled polyester, but will do a little more research on that.
