definitely $25 for a 2 TB it's not high speed but it's definitely perfect for an SSD can't beat the price I bought three all of them were perfectly one actually dropped and of course as you know if it was a regular hard drive it would have failed.. definitely buy more than one

Does NOT retain a connection

It would probably be a decent product if it could RETAIN ITS CONNECTION!!! For some stupid reason, the connection remains unstable. I've used the cable that came with it as well as other USB-C cables I've had... even Linux cannot retain a connection to it, so it makes it highly unusable as its connection is too unstable to even contemplate transferring any large file to. A large capacity external drive that will consistently lose connection mid-transfer makes for a pricey paperweight.

The $22 cost is probably a direct indicator of what I should have expected, but the device was very slow (R/W transfer rates). I returned it.
