I got the bike on Tuesday and had it assembled by a professional. I have ridden it the past three days and I am very pleased with it. The bike is actually nicer than I thought I would be. It is easy to ride and fun. My daily runs have been 15-20 miles and I am not fatigued at all when I finish. I had a single speed cruiser with coaster brakes before this one and I wanted an upgrade without getting into the racing bike category. This bike is perfect.

It is a Schwinn. That's all you need to know

On January 21, 2017, coming back from a 13.8 mile ride, a van ran a stop sign and hit me. My Schwinn Discover 700cc took the brunt of the collision and sad to say, was totaled. My injuries were many and 15 days and counting, I still have bruises and pain but my bike lessened my injuries. That Monday, an insurance adjuster wrote me a check and I immediately went looking for another Schwinn Discover 700 cc bike. This bike absolutely fulfills what I am looking for in a bike at my age. Lightweight frame, great brakes and ease in shifting. Great on straight a ways and going across intercoastal bridges, not a problem to climb without getting off and walking your bike like you see others doing who don't have a Schwinn.

Great Bike

I researched adult bicycles and decided a hybrid met my needs. The quality is excellent. Everything worked right out of the box. Some assymbly was required but the directions were spot on target. 21 speeds and I have not had a problem. I would definitely recommend this Schwinn bicycle to anyone. I am ser and I had a teenager comment that it was a good looking bike.
