I've tried MANY Ranch Dressing Brands. This is the 2nd BEST one I've had. Wishbone or even Kraft or House Brand wasn't that great. The BEST one I've ever had was Gordon Food Service house Brand. it's the brand that is commonly sold and used in Schools. If you recall the Ranch and French Dressing at the Schools served with the Pizza and salads. This GFS brand is what's used.

I've always known Marzetti as the makers of the fresh dressings in the refrigerated section, so it was a surprise to learn they made a shelf-stable bottled version. Though I'm a ranch lover, I found I no longer enjoy the taste of Hidden Valley (not sure if they've changed recipes or if my taste buds have changed) and never found a new favorite after sampling the other major brands. But this Marzetti's is my new favorite. It tastes really fresh and has a strong but well balanced flavor. It's a bit more expensive than the other brands on the shelf, but well worth it if you can afford it. My only complaint is that my local Walmart stores don't carry it! Another time when the free shipping with Walmart comes in handy (you're welcome, Walmart, for the free advertisement 😄).
