Awesome Pro Lite 7' casting rod.

It's more than a nice rod, it's freaking awesome rod. We used it to fish at the Imperial beach pier in San Diego. Me and my dad caught pylon humongous perch. It's a flexible, sensitive, but strong rod. This rod can tackle three pounder perch easy. It can be used in salt water. It has eleven guide rings including tip for smooth and easy retrieve during the big fight. First three guides are three prong and the rest are single prong. Avoid using big casting reels it may not fit.

Nice rod, but.....

My local store does not carry the Pro Lite models, so I had to drive over to another store to purchase the 7 ft casting rod. It seemed to be a very nicely made rod overall, with good action and sensitivity. Unfortunately, it took a fall on the blacktop of the parking lot at the lake and two guide inserts were jarred loose, not just loose, but they shattered also. Sometimes rods take a hit, and the guide inserts come loose, but all in one piece, so I just super glue them back into place. I have never seen inserts that were so brittle that they just went to pieces on impact. I bought a coupe of new guides and put them on the rod. So I would recommend the rod for price and performance, but not if it wil be subjected to taking a bounce on any hard surface. The guides just don't hold up as well as guides on similar or higher priced fishing rods.
