I ordered this part for a friend who was going to buy it locally and saved them at least $50.00 without the hassle of a core charge and then returning the old starter within "X" number of days for credit. A family member is going to install this starter for her, but has not gotten around to it yet, therefore, I can not comment on actual function. Given the same situation with local purchase, the core charges at two locations were $69.00 and $100.00 ... would have basically doubled her initial outlay of cash. Hard to beat $99.95 TOTAL delivered to my front door.
