Mad Max (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray)

This is a great presentation of the first Mad Max film on UHD. While the video is a bit soft due to the cinematography utilized, none-the-less I found little to complain about. This is also true of the audio which does have some inherent limitations due to the age of the soundtrack. Of note is that this Kino release includes many supplemental features that are not included as part of the Warner Brothers UHD which is only available in the Mad Max Anthology and Mad Max 5 Film collection as of this writing. Another nice bonus is the inclusion of the "American dub" version of the soundtrack on this Kino version if you want to compare and contrast it to the original audio. It should be noted that the product picture shows a slipcover which I did not receive with my disc. While I expected that the slipcover was no longer available, it would have been nice for the product picture to be updated so as not to mislead potential buyers.

One of the best 70's movies of all time!
