These steps are beautiful and I had high expectations for them. Unfortunately the slats on the left bottom stair have already broken (5 slats straight across). I am unsure if it could even be repaired as when the slats broke it took the support beam with it. If you do buy these I recommend adding an additional support beam running through the center underneath of the slats.
