very confusing tangled up mess

it came in a jumbled up mess that i cant even begin to decipher. I am trying to get it to look like the design in the picture but its all bent up and twisted. it came in a bag and looks like just a tangled up pile of tape with a backing on it. we have it under a mattress right now spread out the best i could so maybe once it flattens out i can figure it out?
