Whilel I find this item well made and elegant my only disappointment is that it does not hold a regular American size box of tissues. You can use it by pulling the tissues out of another box and placing them into the container it probably holds about 40 at a time. Personally I can deal with this but I know a lot of people who can't that's why I wouldn't recommend it to the general public. If you can deal with this and you like this particular style it's cute as heck. I ordered the white and chrome and the white actually looks like it's a seashell and the chrome is very pretty and it's got little white gemstones on each corner of the top. if you're into simplicity straight lines and minimal style you're going to hate this piece if you like ornate pieces you will like this piece a lot. Just be prepared to hand fill it.
