I am a senior lady and was able to install this product without difficulty. I found the instructions a bit hard to follow but was able to get help from You Tube videos. If I can do this at 70 most people should be able to install with no trouble. The price was certainly better than expected and saved a great deal over hiring a plumber. It was necessary to get tools for the removal of the old parts. The new parts really did not require tools as most are hand tighten.

The FLUIDMASTER 400 AK Toilet Tank Complete Repair Kit was easy to install. First, let me stress that I am not a plumber, and this type of job was intimidating, but with the easy to understand instructions that came with this repair kit, and the step-by-step procedure illustrated by this repair kit, it was a snap in taking out the old hardware and putting in the new. After completion this toilet works just like new. It made a intimidating job unintimidating. As long as you can read, and follow instructions, anyone could complete this job in my opinion. And the price, with less than $20 to do this repair job. I recently had the other toilet and the second bathroom done by a professional, and his labor was well over $300 to do this. The way I see it I saved myself $300 in labor costs for about an hour of my time.
