The assembly of the bed took a little while…. but ultimately it worked out -once we realized you do need two people to work on it. Or at least another set of eyes to help make sense of those instructions. My only real complaint is the wooden pieces that are meant to support the mattress should be made smoother - to prevent splinters! Overall, the pros outweigh the cons: The lifting mechanism is easy to use and the storage space underneath can fit plenty of things. The headboard is not only soft but also looks great. It's frame feels lightweight while still sturdy :)
