Don't buy - I give it a big fat ZERO

I read the preview when it was going to show at the Laemmele Theatres and I (erroneously) thought it would be a good movie. At least that is what the preview led me to believe. I missed seeing the movie on the 'big screen' so when I saw it on DVD I was more than happy to buy. Big disappointment! Natalie Portman is a good actress but the acting seems to be lacking from all involved in the story; from the little boy to the parent(s) to the grandparents...yawn. It's a ho-hum of a story, and doesn't leave you feeling good about the plot, storyline, actors, or any part of it. I seriously wish I'd waited for it to come to the Red Box so I could have rented for a dollar or, wait till it showed on regular cable. I give this movie a big fat ZERO.
