This workbench has a solid, heavy-duty metal frame that's useful for holding items in place while they are being worked, both long and short pieces. Overall, it's well designed. The table and the clamps are of high quality. It's nice that it has two working heights. Trying to understand how it works from reading the instructions alone is a terrible experience because the grammar, explanations, and references are pathetic. With some experimenting on the table and (important!) referencing the drawings one can finally see how it works. However, the fold-out two-piece shelf between the legs probably can't hold a three-pound weight without crumbling. In my case, two of the plastic supports for the long clamps on the side of the legs arrived broken. Just so you won't be wondering, the four black rubber patches without instructions are meant to be glued to the bottom of the legs.

the leg braces are not secure and if you lift up on deck they drop and the table falls.
