I realized with my oldest in soccer and 3 younger brothers following him that we would be spending many years on soccer fields etc. I realized that without a bench, my son and his team would have to stand during their breaks or sit on the grass. As we head into October and rainy season I was looking for a solution to help the team. Another benefit is I could see us taking these 3 seater benches camping. I researched for several hours and read many reviews. Ultimately, the overwhelming opinion is that you get what you pay for. I found the InstaBench on Walmart.com for about $84 for a six seater which was out of stock. Alternately, there were 3 seater benches for about $42. With site to store shipping, I didn't have to pay any shipping fees and ordered 2 three seat InstaBenches. Upon receiving my benches, I was happy with the small size they folded into. The fabric is heavy weight and the carrying bag is also of good quality. The joints of the benches seem very sturdy. I was comfortable sitting in any of the seat positions without worrying about tipping. The benches folded and unfolded smoothly. I figured these benches can do double purpose and come camping with us. While it was a tighter squeeze to sit next to my husband, we can easily sit together or put a kid in between us. I anticipate that these were a great purchase that will take us through many sporting events and seasons. I'm thankful I made the decision to invest in the InstaBench brand.
