Grill Mates Seasoning, Smokehouse Maple, 3.5 oz Bottle

I have always been a fan of McCormick. Their seasoning blends offer a quick and easy way to make any ordinary dinner extraordinary. So when I had the chance to test out their new Grill Mates line, free in exchange for an honest review via Walmart's Spark Reviewer program, I was very excited. The McCormick Grill Mates Smokehouse Maple seasoning blend lives up to its name. It's delicious blend of smoke flavor combined with sweet brown sugar, maple syrup, molasses, and orange peels is to die for. Add in a dash if paprika, onion, garlic, red bell peppers, and spicy chili peppers, and you've got a winning blend that will liven up any meal! I've used it as a dry rub on chuck steak and top sirloin as well as pork chops and grilled chicken. However, please note that this blend does contain sugar, maple syrup, and molasses. Meaning, it will add calories to your diet, at least that's my experience, so use it sparingly if you are trying to lose weight. That said, it makes for a wonderfully flavorful and tasty treat for any BBQ or dinner. You will definitely have your neighbors asking you what you're grilling that smells so good. PROS: * Quick and easy * Tasty and flavorful * Makes a great dry rub on almost any dish * Great for grilling! CONS: * Contains sugar, maple syrup, and molasses - all of which can add extra calories to your diet and cause you to gain weight, so use sparingly. Conclusion: McCormick has done it again! This blend is smoking hot and delicious!
