This has long been one of our favorite movies. Picking up my order from Walmart.com was a nightmare, but the price was nice.

Suitable film for dark comedy fans.

Tracey Ullman and Kevin Kline lead an all-star cast in 1990's "I Love You to Death", directed by Lawrence Kasdan ("The Big Chill", "Silverado"). In the film, Ullman plays Rosalie Boca, a loving mother of two and a devoted wife to pizza parlor owner, Joey, played by Kline. However, Joey is anything but devoted to Roaslie and womanizes at every turn he can. After catching an unaware Joey seducing a girl at the local library, Roaslie is shattered and with the help of her mother (Joan Plowright) & adoring neighbor Devo (River Pheonix), Roaslie plots to kill Joey. Released in the spring of 1990, "I Love You to Death" is a well-produced (if unmemorable) lark --which owes its merits to the direction of Kasdan & the cast, rather than the screenplay by John Kostmayer. The DVD is rather bare-bones: no special features other than a couple of trailers to older films from Sony.
