We had a lot of rain and got water in the carpeting in our basement and it smelled awful. The smell creeped upstairs and we had to do something to get the smell out. I searched online and found this product and since it is made by Arm %26 Hammer, I knew it would be a good product. We sprinkled it on the wet carpeting and by the next day, the smell was gone. The scent is very fresh and did its job. We aren't tearing our carpet out just yet so we keep reapplying whenever the smell comes back. I can't say enough good things about this product and highly recommend you try it.

Easy to vacuum out of carpets. Smells so clean and fresh! I have a big stinky dog that loves to lay on the rugs at the doors. My carpet cleaner broke, and I can't afford a new one right now, so this is a great alternative for removing odors from carpet. My only complaint is with the container dispenser, it pours out the powder, and you have to sprinkle it close to the carpet or it will stay airborne too long. It smells so good I put a little bit in small old containers, poke holes in the lid and use it to freshen the whole house.
