Mountain House is always reliable on what they deliver. You can always rely on MH for a good product - in fact, I love the lasagna - the dishes are filling and quite tasty and certainly enough when out for a weekend. Since I'm in NC, we have disaster planning and I prefer these meal packs because the '72 hour' or '1 week' kind of packs available are usually not really sufficient. Many are often overloaded with stuff like granola and soups - basically selling the cheap stuff together as a package. With these you get exactly what you expect and include necessary protein you won't find in granola.

Delicious. It smelled good when I first opened the pouch. I didn't get a pic when it was done cooking, after that first bite, I forgot. Waaay better tasting than frozen meals. Not better than homemade but a good option. All you need is hot water and you have a good meal. I'll definitely put this brands food in my emergency kit. (The vanilla ice cream bar is also delicious)
