Much of its popularity with nursing and therapy professionals is that it is not dependent upon knowledgeable staff to properly place the gel cushion in a wheelchair – it can be frontwards, backwards or sideways and still perform as designed. While the EquaGel Straight Comfort Wheelchair Seat Cushion is not coded for Medicare reimbursement, it will provide the user with extended comfort while aiding to prevent pressure sores.
