Purchased for our 6y/o for Christmas. Thankful that we read the reviews prior to purchasing as we would have bought the smaller model if we didn't read the reviews. Yes, the age recommendation for this model is 13 or 14 and up but it would be way too small for them. This is the perfect size and speed for a child age 5-9ish. Our son loves it. Was everything we expected and was very easy to assemble. Highly recommend. Pictures posted for you to size the bike. Next to standard power wheels truck and the dirt bike being rode by our 6y/o who is 52” tall

Killer ride upgrade!

So far so good! We are not in an area that a gasoline dirt bike would benefit. Pros- Ease of Use, charge time, some upgradable components (if you search enough) razor quality. Cons- if I had to pick one, maybe go fast? And come stickered and assembled. We've had a smaller version before- we love it!
