Bought this item not for a window, but for use as a skirt around an ottoman after a house guest's cat clawed the original ottoman fabric in multiple places. Spending $$ for reupholstering was not happening. We ran 1" wide elastic thru the rod pocket, cinched the elastic to fit snugly, and the claw damage is concealed!
