The beauty?
Mollard knows that beautifulwoods deserve superb craftsmanship, and so each Mollard baton islovingly hand-crafted from the finest hardwoods, especially selected fortheir warmth and beauty. The handles are polished to a lustrous highgloss. The wood shafts are finished in clear gloss or bright white, andthe carbon fiber shafts are finished in brilliant pearlescent white. OurLancio aluminum baton handles come in an array of stunning colors.
The craftsmanship?
All Mollard batons are made in the USA from the finest materialsavailable worldwide. If a material we purchased does not exceed ourstringent quality control standards, we reject it. Period. We handselect the woods used in our batons, and we hand finish each and everycomponent. During assembly, shafts and handles are carefully matched forweight and fit, then each newly-assembled baton is hand balanced usinginterior counterweights.
Our carbon fiber shafts are not fishing pole blanks. They have beenspecifically designed by Mollard to match identically in weight andweight distribution to Mollard wood shafts. So no matter which shaft youchoose, your baton will feel wonderful!
Our Lancio baton handles are machined to very tight tolerances fromaircraft-grade aluminum stock. Mollard then anodizes and dyes eachhandle in brilliant colors. These are critical processes that takeplace within the Mollard plant.
