Athletic Works Boys Active Shorts, Sizes 4-18

My 8 year old is 65lbs and in between sizes right now. We ordered a size 10/12 and it fit well, even in the waist without using the draw string. The quality is great on these shorts. They are very soft, wash up well and have substantial weight to them. It says they keep you cool. We didn't try it, but I actually think they are too thick to wear on a very hot summer day. The blue color matches a lot of the shorts we bought last year from this store.

My son really liked these shorts! He is 5'7" tall and around 120 lbs so I bought him the XXL 18. They fit as expected and I'd say they run true to size. He chose the "Blue Moonlight" color option and he liked it a lot! It's a very nice blue! Not too light or too dark. The shorts are lightweight and soft to the touch and he said they were very comfortable. The material appears to be good quality. He'll be comfortable playing basketball in them and that's what he was looking for. He likes that they are the dri-fit material. I like that they were so affordable! We recommend!
