The helmet frame portion is a pretty weak plastic and won't take any abuse but does work The lens however is solar activated and does work but only 1 shade light to 1 shade dark so when I struck an arc the lens went so dark I couldn't see anything but the arc so my weld path was veering off I lift the mask get back on track over and over again and again I purchased some %237 lenses to replace the solar one
