Wonder Nation Boys Kid Tough Hoodie with Long Sleeves, Sizes 4-18 & Husky

Bought a ton of these in the most tolerable colors (black and navy). Probably around 10 or more for 3 people (a 10 y/o, 15 y/o, and myself in size 18...I'm a shorty and around 130 lbs). My kids both volunteered independently that they really liked them without being asked and I totally agree after wearing mine. We're in a deep winter freeze snap here in Michigan here now (late Jan./early Feb.) and these hoodies are getting us through. In fact, I ran out of gas after letting my car heat up to go run errands and falling asleep like a big dummy. Had to walk 30 minutes to work then head to the gas station after work and home again with gas cans in a cart. I work overnight and it was seriously below zero (single to light double digits F). I had 2 shirt layers, a flannel, 2 of these hoodies on with the hoods up, 2 pairs of gloves, leggings, uniform pants, workboots with wool liners, and a balaclava. Outside of the balaclava making my glasses fog up and my hands getting near frost bit filling up the gas cans (brought latex gloves with me for the fill task), I was pretty straight. The bit of heat generated while walking was contained pretty well. Granted, if it was windy with wet snow, the tide would have turned for the worst, but it's nothing even a thin weather proof windbreaker and way better gloves wouldn't have solved. I probably could have suffered a total hour one way walk coming and going and survived mostly nicely. Why didn't I have a proper winter coat on hand you ask? Put off going to the storage unit where all my winter stuff was. Story of my life. So, yeah, I'm a big fan of these hoodies. They are super furry and fleecy inside and the pockets are a better size than my heavyweight Gildan ones from my (other) outdoors state park job. My phone actually stays parked instead of falling out on the regular. Reason I bought so many is because I wanted to make sure I had future upsizes as my kids grow and for when they inevitably leave things behind and lose them. Also, since certain makes and models don't come back I made a point to initiate a hoard. Now I haven't washed any of these yet, but when I do I am going to make sure I will wash them separately and all zipped up to avoid big pilling (hopefully) and color contrasting cement lint parasites. Love these things! Get some if they get reissued next season. Hopefully they will bring them back.

It is a lot thicker than I thought it would be, which is perfect for this time of year.My grandson could wear it under his winter coat when him and pap go play in the snow and make snow forts.It will also be perfect come fall, it's thick enough that he could wear it as his coat, fall is hoodies and jean weather!!! True to size and color is a real dep dark navy blue..
