It was a little big, but I was between sizes

I measured 12.25 like in the picture over a sock (since I was planning on wearing one under it) and got a medium. It's a little big, but it works with a wrap type ankle brace over or under it. It doesn't really fit in a shoe comfortably (this was by itself, not with the additional wrap). The shoe has to be pretty big. It's fine around the house. sometimes it works in a shoe but not always.

Well made and thought out design.

I have a condition called drop foot. It causes me difficulty walking and my ankle sometimes hurts. I have a big boot that holds my foot in place that came from my doctor and physical therapist, this ankle brace has strapping that's similar to that boot. It's very easily adjusted, and offers good support. I don't think it will help with the drop foot, but I think it will help with pain in my ankle. I can't wear the boot and walk, it's not a walking boot, so I think this brace will might help a little when my ankle is hurting.

Great for Playing Sports

The ankle brace provides great support while I play basketball. I broke my ankle about 15 years ago and still need support for it all these years later. I like the adjustable laces to keep the brce tight and fitted. Materials seem good and it works well!
