- Polyken 223 also has a low volatile organic compound (VOC) content, making it ideal for organizations trying to conform to the LEED specification of EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials). It is tested to meet the standards outlined in UL 723.
- Tape rolls are typically cut to standard tape industry metric-cut sizes - or approx 5% narrower than the nominal size (i.e. 24mm per 1-inch of nominal width ordered).
- Adhesive: rubber. Carrier/Backing: polyethylene (PE) coated cloth. Thickness: 10 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 90 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Adhesion to Backing: 40 ounces per inch

Polyken 223 Multi-Purpose Duct Tape is a high adhesion duct tape for a broad range of applications. Applications include sealing duct work; general purpose packaging and repair; holding insulation materials in place; color coding; hanging and seaming poly sheeting; sealing and closure tape for poly bags; temporary holding and bundling; and creating a condensation barrier in refrigeration assemblies. Polyken 223 Duct Tape has good tensile strength, excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces, is conformable, and will not twist or curl during application. It has low VOC content and can contribute toward satisfying EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials) under LEED®. Tested in accordance with UL 723. Also please note that Polyken 223 comes to our converter in log roll format (that is why the tape can be offered in non-standard widths) and because of that rolls will ship on non-branded plain white cores. Made in the U.S.
NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 48mm x 55m.
