Shimano Spirex 4000

I've been fishing with Spirex reels for 40 years and really like the quick fire trigger. This is a great saltwater reel with a little care. The reel is VERY smooth. I wish they still made it with a rear drag, however Shimano discontinued it many years ago.

love the trigger release of the line...quantum once made a similar system which i have several that are 20 yrs old....but the Shimano is far ahead of that technology in spincast reels...plus a very smooth retrieval...the 2500 is perfect for bass /walleye fishing or most other 5-10 pound fish that you might get on yourhook! would recommend.
