Christmas 'card' stuffer

I wanted a wallet for Christmas and I got two. My much, much used Fossil Wallet had lost it's shape and started to unravel--the leather and stitching on the sides 'retired'. I actually got another Fossil wallet but it seemed more like a man's wallet so I gave it to my son-in-law. Fossil and Buxton have been the only wallets I've owned--for years. I've never been overly fascinated with logo wallets--I've seen those fall apart quicker then the 'no names' from discount stores. I should say SOME of those mostly ridiculously priced wallets. Since I don't stand in line and 'model' my wallet --what I want is durability, quality and some style. Buxton has a comfortable (price range) of suitable wallets and accessories. This was my first Buxton Heiress Double Cardex. Its feels a little stiff at first but that soon wears off and its smooth and easy to handle. It doesn't feel bulky--even stuffed to the top with quarters.I use quarters in those little toy machines--it's a mom/now grandma thing. Your cards will seem hard to position-when you open it up and organize things. There are a couple almost extra large slots and your cards may slip thru--not unto the floor--into the bottom of the wallet. If you have mini cards or super saver cards put them in the corner on top of the store card.I use my see thru license spot (temporarily) or when the card doesn't block my license. The coin keeper works for small objects like cards and dry cleaning receipts. My one and only problem with the Buxton Heiress Double Cardex is the card slippage and no real space for little cards --however--I realize that many people put the tiny cards on key chains. A pretty wallet with a generous amount of card space and durable/quality appeal.Thanks.

Verified Purchase

Wasn't what I expected.

I liked the 2 compartments for the currency bills. I didn't like the stiffness of the wallet...made it hard to fold close. Also, the coin compartment was not wide enough making it very hard to get the coins out.
