    Easy to use, works very well.

    I bought a refurbished HP computer to upgrade to Windows 7. It didn't come with a wireless card. I researched for months to determine the best (and easiest) way to have wireless. I chose this and am very pleased with its ease of use. It was VERY easy to set up and has worked like a charm. It is a great choice if you don't want to mess with buying something to put on the motherboard. Cost was a big factor for me as well and this was perfect. If there are any concerns at all, it is that it sticks out a bit because it is like a flash drive, altho' smaller. My argument with that is that most wireless have an antenna that sticks out a bit as well, so I just have to pay attention. It really isn't a problem at all. I've always had good luck with IOGEAR products, so I felt safe in choosing this product.

    Excellent High Speed Wireless USB Adapter

    This wireless usb adapter does exactly what it's meant to do. It works perfectly well, and the speed delivered is pretty fast. Prior to purchasing this product, I read several reviews that stated they had issues installing the software CD that came with this adapter. Well, you really do not need the CD to get this adapter detected on your computer. I would recommend turning off your computer before inserting the adapter into the USB port. Once you have it in, with the computer off; turn your computer back on, and it will automatically detect it. You will then need to click on your wireless network connection icon, so that you can select your home connection; once selected, you will be prompted to enter your WEP Key ID (this can be found behind your router - which was provided to you by your cable/internet company), once entered, you will be instantly connected.
