I've tried pressing real hard to stop the motor and was unable to. it slowed a bit but never stopped. but in reality you wouldn't be doing this, I was just curious. I had surgery and was unable to use my left arm for a bit and this brush has helped keep me clean. I really like it. my only dislike about it is I can't seem to find how to purchase additional loofah heads for when I need them.
