The most comfortabe keyboard I've used.
The keys feel smooth and easy as you type. It's probably the best keyboard I've used. I've had a number of mechanical keyboards, but, none of them can compare to the v5 max. The feel of the thing while typing, is hard to not constantly repeat.

The Gold Standard for 96% Keyboards
I placed an order for this keyboard as soon as it went public as it combined my three needs: a 96% layout + QMK/VIA compatibility + Tri-Mode, something that my Q5 (non-Pro, non-Max) does not have. As soon as I built my keyboard, however, the V5 Max quickly became my daily driver, so my Q5 has been relegated to being a showpiece for some of my more premium switches and components. This is something that I will mention for those who hesitate on this keyboard solely because it is not made out of aluminum (e.g., the Q series) - the plastics Keychron uses in the V series not only help to reduce fingerprints but also contribute to a deeper and more resonant sound signature (i.e., "thocky" as TikTok would say), especially combined with PBT keycaps and appropriate switches (e.g., TTC Gold Brown Pros). My only recommendation for Keychron at this point would be per-key RGB but I have a hunch they might be reserving this functionality in the future to their Lemokey lineup ;)
