The Design House Delavan Privacy Door Handle is finished in satin nickel and works on both left- and right-hand doors. It fits the most common door sizes in the U.S., with backsets of 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 inches. This handle locks from the inside with a simple turn-button—no key needed—making it great for bedrooms and bathrooms. It can be opened from the outside with a basic tool in case of emergency. It fits standard doors that are 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches thick. The latch is strong and stays in place once installed. The handle includes a 1 in. x 2-1/4 in. corner faceplate and is made for doors with a 2-1/8 in. cross bore and 1 in. edge bore. This product is ANSI Grade 3 certified, meaning it meets safety standards for home use.
