12V 20Ah LiFePO4 Battery, up to 2000 Deep Cycles for Solar Power, Outdoor Camping, Fish Finders, Lighting, Off-Grid, 20A BMS

In researching batteries for a solar setup, I learned about LiFePO4 batteries. What I learned is that they're happy being fully charged (like Lead Acid batteries that are used in cars and in my case - Power Wheels). They're also more tolerant of being discharged. That works really well considering my son likes to take this down to a minimum charge level to get every bit of power out of it. This particular battery is rated for 10Ah, which is about the same as the original battery. But it should have more usable capacity. The one thing I didn't realize is that it is significantly lighter! On such a light project, saving that kind of weight is a big deal. Since the Power Wheels truck has been moved out of the garage, I thought I would use my small solar panels to combine projects. These batteries are well known for solar storage. So I'll put them on the hood and keep this charged for when he's ready to play. A little more work to make that happen. 12v batteries are a great thing to have around as a spare. At the great price of this one, I expect that I'll pick up at least another to have to jump cars and whatever other projects that come up.

It's compact and easy to travel around with although it does carry some weight. I really bought it for when I would be outside and need to charge solar panels.
