My cat had extensive paw surgery and we tried NUMEROUS options. This set was the WIN that we needed. 1) the entire top unzips so being able to place her down on all four of casted paws was a must (the first more expensive option from Amazon only had peepholes that also meant the cat had to be in position directly below the port holes to pull her out for meds). On the other hand, this amazing set had a higher quality mesh screen both all around and on the top, and even in the smallest section, there were two zippered doors that were double zippered (so a small opening vs the all or nothing could be created. The octagon shape made each panelled size more stable, so even if my 15.9 lb tank of a cat leaned against it, it didn't budge. Although not advertised, the bottom was exceptionally water proof. This came in handy when she spilled her water and had a few accidents outside of her box in a medicated stooper. Cleanup was a breeze due to the vast amounts by of openings that went down to the floor. The alternatives we tried had high ledges that she had to cross over making it necessary for us to still use the top portholes to get her out. The ability for each of the two sections to function alone was a feature we weren't appreciating until we ended up in a situation where we needed to confine her to the small octagon alone to limit movement. The larger came in handy later when she was cast free but still on restricted movement orders. The purchase from Amazon was flimsy and the mesh paper thin. This set was a true life saver.

This playpen worked exactly for what I wanted it for. We are using this playpen for a kitty hospice type area. There is a potty box side and resting/eating area for our senior fur baby. The structure itself is a bit flimsy, but that’s ok and for the price it works out perfectly. More than easy to assemble like a pop up tent. Easy access to each section then on the top opens completely. Breathable and easy to move around and carry if needed just pop it back together and carry case. Material is very thin just fyi, but works great for us.
