ordered for my 87 yr old mother who does not have enough hand strength to set brakes on her chair. they fit and work perfect making it very easy for her to set or release her brakes. my only complaint is what i believe to be an extremely misleading product description. they are intended to be used in pairs as every wheelchair i have ever seen has a left and right brake handle. one extension is not practical, period! the product description says word for word; "Drive Medical 8" Wheelchair Transport Chair Brake Handle Extensions STDS801 Chrome ,8". please note the word EXTENSIONS in the description. what i received was one. i had no option but to place a second order and pay a second $6.99 shipping fee to acquire a second one to make a pair. great product but a very disappointing experience over not properly proofing and ad. for the record when i went to school adding an "s" to the end of the word made it plural.
