It's really good quality material and looks great. It's not dark grey. It's sort of a medium to light grey, almost blue looking. I still love the color, though. It's short. It doesn't have a base, so it's low to the ground. Not bad, at all for the price, I paid. I would love it if it had a base, though. It comes in a small box, and inflates. It said to wait up to 3 days, but it wasn't any bigger. It pretty much was, what it was, after opening, though maybe more stable? Love the pillows that come with it. It's so comfortable, but hard to get up out of. It would be better if it had screw on legs, and then they could still ship it small. It's like one of those swivel chairs, and a good size, just no base on it. I put it by my fireplace, so I can snuggle by the fire, in the winter. Great deal!!
